Handel's Messiah

You are invited to be part of the Handel’s Messiah Chorus for Hunterdon Symphony’s December 20, 2026 holiday concert!

Rehearsals begin Thursday, October 1st. Deadline to sign up is September 25th.

There is no fee and no formal audition to join the chorus. We welcome dedicated singers who are comfortable learning choral music and committed to faithful rehearsal attendance.

Scores will be provided, on loan from Hunterdon Symphony. If you have your own Novello edition you are encouraged to use it.

Choral Director - Rose Nagy: Rose serves as Co-Director of NJWOMENSONG following a 33-year teaching career, 30 of which were spent as choral director at J.P. Case Middle School.

Rehearsal Schedule: Thursdays 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Hunterdon Central Regional High School's (HCRHS) music building in Flemington, NJ.

Dec 17 - Mandatory Dress Rehearsal at HCRHS auditorium

Rehearsal requirements: You must attend at least 7 of the 10 regular rehearsals, including either the Nov 19 or Dec 3 rehearsal, in addition to the mandatory December 17 dress rehearsal with the orchestra. For returning singers who have already performed the piece with us, fewer rehearsals may be allowed with approval from the Choral Director.

Concert: Sunday, December 20, 3:00 pm at Hunterdon Central Regional High School Auditorium, Flemington, NJ

Messiah Performance to include:

Part I plus the Hallelujah Chorus.
Soloists: Amalia Crevani, Anna Grace Roth, Matthew Cerillo, Anthony Hahn
